About the role

We understand and provide expert consultation on weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.
We know defense and we know aircraft systems.
Verify and comply with engineering documentation standards and test procedures.

May lead and direct the work of other engineers and stakeholders while acting as the Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Perform a range of system model development, analysis, or review tasks under minimal supervision.
Act as a lead on less complex tasks and responsible for a portion of a model or section of an analysis or design review.
Support the generation and modeling of design specifications.
Establish and maintain a filing system or databases as needed for tracking project status.
Develop, maintain, and produce technical documentation and system/subsystem specifications.
Support development of technical proposal and provide comments on the technical content and level of effort of the proposed scope of work.

The Model-Based Systems Engineer performs systems modeling related efforts and ensures that proper systems engineering procedures are followed.

Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Tool Kit, and/or other SysML enabled tools.
Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related STEM discipline 1 year Experience with Cameo or a similar MBSE modeling software Must be a U.S citizen.
Required Skills/Abilities: Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler, Cameo Simulation Tool Kit, and/or other SysML enabled tools.

Master's degree in an Engineering discipline or other STEM related field 3+ years of experience in the field or related area
Must possess a TS security clearance Preferred: Master's degree in an Engineering discipline or other STEM related field 3+ years of experience in the field or related area
