- The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations of a global finance technology and loan servicing organization with operations in the United States, United Kingdom, and Italy.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
- Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of up to five accounting professionals.
- Support employee training and professional development initiatives.
- Support accounting and reporting requirements for international entities.
- Partner with external advisors and local accounting resources as needed.
- Support system upgrades, implementations, and finance technology initiatives.
- Develop and maintain accounting reports and data analysis tools.
- Provide accounting guidance and support to cross-functional business partners.
Compensation
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
