Strong experience using manufacturing analysis tools, such as statistical process control, design of experiments, process capability studies, Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing.
Normal Scheduled hours will vary based on the need to support 24/7 Operation
Develop and deliver equipment and processes that meet safety requirements, policies, and guidelines.
Lead risk reduction activities that provide for the safety and well-being of operators, maintenance, and other personnel.
Develop knowledge and skills in leadership of the application of engineering principles, scientific analysis, LEAN principles, and project management.
Develop and incorporate best practices and centerlines to optimize key outputs.
Support maintenance personnel when troubleshooting complex issues.
Identify and document issues and opportunities with existing equipment.
Develop and maintain training plan for process resources at the site
Lead a safety work team

Requires a minimum of a bachelor's or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Science, or closely related engineering from an accredited college or university.
At least 7 years' or more of industrial experience in a variety of technical or operational assignments in a high-speed consumer product manufacturing and/or staff environment.
A demonstrated ability to perform in cross-functional teams to achieve objectives within required timeframes.
Financial Acumen required
Extending support to other plant operations as required
Other Assignments as required

Extensive knowledge with tissue production equipment, materials, and processes is a plus.
Multiple years of experience in a variety of plant manufacturing and staff support or capital project assignments, including maintenance, utilities, and asset support.
Experience working with external technical service providers.
Familiarity with high-speed manufacturing equipment machine startups.
Experience and expertise in Kimberly-Clark engineering procedures and processes is beneficial

The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire.
Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience.
Please note that the stated pay range applies to Canada locations only.
