  • The Head of Private Markets Relationship Management, S&P Global Ratings is a pivotal leadership position responsible for elevating the Private Markets Commercial team to achieve strategic objectives within the sector.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives in building and nurturing relationships with key clients and prospects across Private Markets, including private credit, fund finance and financial sponsors, with a focus on partnering to provide tailored solutions to enhance client outcomes.
  • Develop and implement innovative business development strategies to drive growth and enhance S&P Global Ratings' market position in the Private Markets sector, leveraging data analytics and AI-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior executives to provide commercial insights and drive strategic initiatives, leveraging a global mindset, promoting cross-regional collaboration and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Drive performance improvement through effective sales metrics and continuous team development, fostering adaptability and creativity.

Requirements

  • An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 10+ years of extensive experience in consultative sales.
  • Must have a deep understanding of client needs and strategic solutions in Debt Capital Markets working in Private Markets, including private credit, alternative investment funds, financial sponsors, and asset managers.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing relationship management teams and driving significant revenue growth.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees or certifications in relevant areas.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives and stakeholders, promoting collaboration and a global mindset.
  • Must have analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making, demonstrating creativity and innovation.
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral, with the ability to connect with people at all levels in the organization.
  • US travel required
  • All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
  • This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
