About the role
- This position is key to safeguarding AEP's eligibility for federal funding and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of all DBA-related activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of AEP's compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act for federally funded projects under both grants and federal loan programs.
- Provide guidance and support during contract drafting and negotiation to confirm all prevailing wage and certified payroll obligations are incorporated.
- For federal loan-funded projects, lead implementation of AEP's DBA management system, ensuring it supports seamless certified payroll submission, error resolution, and reporting.

Requirements
- Obtain and track all required variances and variance extensions to ensure AEP's continued compliance with DBA timelines and requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Management, Business or Engineering or Associate's degree in same disciplines.
- With a Bachelor's degree, nine (9) years of grant writing, project management, or business development experience
- OR, With an Associate's degree and eleven (11) years of related experience mentioned above.
- Working knowledge of the Davis-Bacon Act, prevailing wage laws, and federal procurement processes.
- Strong attention to detail with proven ability to interpret and apply complex federal labor standards.
- Proficiency with LCPTracker or similar certified payroll management systems.
- Experience supporting DOE or other federal infrastructure grants or loans.
- Familiarity with unionized craft labor environments.

Compensation
- $116,255.00 - $151,132.50
- Salary Range between: $116,000-$140,000
