Responsibilities

  • Understanding of building science, construction, energy-using systems, lighting, and audit technologies.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • 2+ years experience in energy efficiency, utility programs, quality assurance role or in consulting, HVAC, or facility maintenance Experience leading teams.
  • ability to travel 25-75% (limited overnight travel).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with SnuggPro, Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Ability to apply detailed knowledge of organizational procedures to make independent decisions and serve as a credible resource for senior management.
  • If applicable to the position, a pre-employment drug screen may also be required.

Compensation

  • The compensation range for the base salary for this position is $75,000-$85,000.
  • In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
  • The stated salary represents the expected compensation for this position.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, education and location.

  • Lead is a key hire responsible for building and leading a dynamic field service team dedicated to delivering high-quality in-home energy audits and ensuring quality control for our HOMES and HEAR programs.
  • As the Team Lead you will manage a team of customer-focused technicians proficient in BPI standards and related certifications, while also conducting comprehensive in-home energy audits with a focus on income-based program participants and collaboration with contractor networks.
  • Working with partners to identify and implement effective solutions based on audit findings and client feedback will be key to your success.
  • Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Resource Innovations' program solutions.
  • We are seeking mission driven and career minded clean energy professionals with proven experience in energy auditing, building science, or related fields, along with established relationships within housing, rebate/incentive programs, and community development.
  • Strong leadership skills, a focus on team building and customer service, and knowledge of relevant standards and practices, particularly BPI certifications, are essential.

  • Duties and Responsibilities Supervises, coaches, and supports field technicians to ensure high-quality installation and service.
  • Review and QC field technicians audits and ensure energy modeling requirements are met.
  • Assist leadership team in recruiting and training BPI-certified Energy Auditors to build a skilled team.
  • Manage verification processes across programs, ensuring assignment selection and documentation completion.
  • Conduct onsite inspections, create inspection reports, and address any issues identified.
  • Implement energy audit protocols and QA/QC requirements to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Other duties as assigned.
