The Claims Consultant is considered an expert in managing insurance claims on an individual and portfolio level for our clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Process submissions within the claims process lifecycle for agencies and insureds assigning to the appropriate claim's firm.

Supports advisors in securing new business, by performing a baseline risk assessment that will identify opportunities in a prospect's claims management program
Ability to drive a claim from first intake through the process to satisfactory submission of the first notice of loss.
The ability to develop relationships and effectively communicate with a diverse range of clients, carriers and colleagues is a key success factor in this role.

The Claims Consultant must have technical knowledge and experience in insurance claims handling and risk mitigation techniques.

5+ years' experience in claims
Be willing to obtain any state required License within a specified time frame from starting employment with the firm.

Possess strong knowledge of property and casualty insurance contracts to include HO3, HO4, HO5 HO6 and master policy programs.
Outstanding knowledge and ability to use MS Office Word and Excel in the execution of their daily duties.
Possess the aptitude to learn new systems, programs, and technology driven business tools.
Ability to work independently and prioritize assignments.
Strong communication skill with unflappable professional demeanor under pressure.
