About the role
- Assist with TOC, PCT, Solids, Chlorides, BOD/COD and other water quality chemistries.
- Assist in day-to-day technical issues related to production and operations on other Inorganic instrumentation
- Generate worklists and organise workload to meet Turn Around Times (TAT's) and hold times.
Responsibilities
- Help develop analytical plans for special or problematic matrices or parameters.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Manual dexterity to perform intricate and/or repetitive tasks.
Requirements
- Completion of diploma or degree in chemistry or related field
- Experience with any of the following instrumentation and chemistries: ICP, continuous-flow analyzers, autotitrators, spectrophotometer as well as Residue and BOD/COD chemistries.
- Ability to sit at a desk and do general office work, which includes periodic sedentary responsibilities
- Wear issued personal protective equipment (PPE) such as dust masks, gloves etc., when required
Skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Excellent computer skills.
