Primary Location: QUEENS COLLEGE Bargaining Unit: No Queens College is seeking responsible and customer-focused individuals to serve as Fitness Center Attendants within the Department of Athletics and Recreation.

This position requires a strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations.
The ideal candidate is dependable, approachable, and able to work independently while maintaining high levels of awareness.

The Fitness Center Attendant will oversee daily operations at the recreation fitness center, including managing check-ins and verifying the eligibility of all patrons entering the facility.
The Attendant will provide general assistance to gym users, answer questions regarding equipment use and facility rules, and maintain a professional presence throughout each shift.
In addition to front desk responsibilities, the Fitness Center Attendant will monitor the fitness floor to ensure equipment is being used safely and appropriately.
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, maintain active supervision of the fitness space, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
The Fitness Center Attendant represents the department and is expected to provide a positive and professional experience for all facility users.
