- Primary Location: QUEENS COLLEGE Bargaining Unit: No Queens College is seeking responsible and customer-focused individuals to serve as Fitness Center Attendants within the Department of Athletics and Recreation.
Requirements

- The ideal candidate is dependable, approachable, and able to work independently while maintaining high levels of awareness.
Benefits
- The Fitness Center Attendant will oversee daily operations at the recreation fitness center, including managing check-ins and verifying the eligibility of all patrons entering the facility.
- The Attendant will provide general assistance to gym users, answer questions regarding equipment use and facility rules, and maintain a professional presence throughout each shift.
- In addition to front desk responsibilities, the Fitness Center Attendant will monitor the fitness floor to ensure equipment is being used safely and appropriately.
- This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, maintain active supervision of the fitness space, and respond quickly in emergency situations.
- The Fitness Center Attendant represents the department and is expected to provide a positive and professional experience for all facility users.
