Responsibilities

  • Develop software systems and cloud applications with focus on maintenance, extensibility, integration, and security of data storage and retrieval.
  • Quickly learn new tooling, platforms, and frameworks, when building and developing microservices and APIs.
  • Optimize frameworks, pipelines, visualizations, dashboards, and systems to remotely manage devices and facilitate collection of business analytics and reports across different products or domains.
  • Translate wireframes and sketches into HTML and CSS and collaborate with frontend and fullstack developers across the organization to drive company-wide excellence in user interaction.
  • Building modern cloud services on AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Backend web development, including best software engineering practices, efficient object-oriented software design, and building modern back-end systems (Python)
  • Building and developing APIs and restful web services (Node.js, Flask/Nginx, Docker, PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy)
  • This role is for talented Software Engineers with applied experience in building modern cloud services and web applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and 5+ years' of work experience
  • or Masters Degree in Computer Science and 3+ years of work experience
  • Ability to use and program a computer for 8 hours a day, five days a week

  • Front-end web development (Javascript, Typescript) and modern frameworks (React)
  • Working with Product and UI/UX designers, translating wireframes and requirements into web applications
