About the role

The standards you set, the policies you write, and the rigor you bring will become the operating system for the finance organization for years.
Financial reporting - produce monthly internal financial statements and the supporting analytics that feed our board package.

We partner with cardiologists, payers, and patients to bring a value-based model to a specialty that has long operated in fee-for-service.
We build trust through compassion and thoughtful communication.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will own the operating rhythm of our financial close, stand up the systems and processes that the company will run on, and lead Chamber through its first formal external audit.
Audit - own audit prep and serve as Chamber's primary point of contact for external auditors during our first full audit.
Accounts payable - design, document, and operate the end-to-end
This is a true zero-to-one build.
Accounts payable - design, document, and operate the end-to-end AP process: vendor onboarding, bill review, payments, and expense management.
Balance sheet reconciliations - own recurring reconciliations across cash, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, and intercompany.

Cross-functional partnership - work alongside Operations, People, and Clinical leadership on the accounting implications of new contracts, programs, and hires.
Close process is owned end-to-end with replicable reporting and infrastructure.
AP process documented and live.
Current-state diagnostic complete with a prioritized roadmap.
Close consistently completed on target date.
Monthly board reporting is reliable and largely automated.
Audit readiness work well underway.
First full external audit completed with a clean opinion.
