About the role
- Monitor instructional effectiveness and curriculum fidelity across district-run schools.
- Monitor instructional effectiveness, curriculum fidelity, and implementation of evidence-based instructional practices across district-run schools.
- Provide coaching and feedback to school-based instructional leaders.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation of Tier I instructional systems aligned to High-Quality Instructional Materials (HQIM), Louisiana academic standards, and district instructional priorities.
- Support school leaders in strengthening instructional coherence, academic rigor, student discourse, and data-driven instructional planning.
- Supervise and support district instructional coaches.
- Supervise and support district instructional coaches to ensure alignment, consistency, and effective implementation of instructional supports.
- School Support & Improvement
- Partner with principals to implement academic improvement strategies.
- Support schools in achieving student performance goals.
- Coordinate targeted instructional support for schools as needed.
- Support schools in strengthening Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), intervention systems, progress monitoring structures, and instructional response practices.
- Coordinate differentiated instructional support for schools based on student achievement data, implementation needs, and accountability indicators.
