Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant B2B sales experience, preferably in technology or cybersecurity.
- 5+ years' experience with a Value-Added Reseller (VAR), cybersecurity manufacturer, or IT services provider.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity sales cycles, particularly complex or enterprise-level deals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of CyberOne's solutions portfolio and vendor ecosystem.
- Any exceptions must be approved in writing in advance.
Nice to have
- Established network of clients and vendors within the Chicago, IL area.
- Relevant sales certifications from cybersecurity vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.).
- Understanding of MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Risk & Compliance services, and Professional Services.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and solution positioning.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset.
- High degree of organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel locally as needed.
- Must be able to travel regularly (25%) to customer sites in or near the Chicago and occasionally to the company headquarters in Plano, TX.
- Ability to navigate client environments, which may include walking, stairs, or carrying light materials (up to 25 lbs).
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing while working remotely or attending meetings.
- Ability to operate a laptop and standard office equipment.
- Participation in virtual meetings and occasional in-person trainings or company events as needed.
- Clear verbal, visual, and auditory capabilities to present, communicate, and engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
