About the role
- You'll play an important role in the continued growth of both the Electrical practice and the people within it.
- Assist with recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment
Responsibilities
- At HIDI, you'll have the opportunity to lead meaningful projects while helping shape the future of our Electrical practice.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of engineers, designers, and technical staff
- Manage team workloads, resource planning, and project assignments
- Conduct performance reviews and support employee development
- Support project financial performance, resource planning, and utilization
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Support proposal preparation, fee submissions, and presentations
- Collaborate with Principals on business development and strategic growth initiatives
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Electrical group
- Lead complex base building electrical projects across a variety of sectors
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Progressive consulting engineering experience with a focus on base building electrical systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Revit experience is considered an asset)
- Strong understanding of project management, budgeting, scheduling, and resource planning
