About the role

Maintenance Technician ensures all equipment is running smoothly through quick in-depth troubleshooting and repair of all types of manufacturing equipment.
Working as a team with other technicians, machine operators, supervisors, and department managers, the Sr.
Through preventative and predictive maintenance processes, the Sr.

Maintenance Technician will collaborate to resolve mechanical issues.
Maintenance Technician will develop and implement standard methodologies aligned with Niagara's maintenance strategies and champion continuous improvement efforts as well as assist with training in their designated focus area.
Work directly with management to develop and execute projects involving continuous improvement, upgrades, and the resolution of reoccurring problems
Collaborate with your peers and team members to transfer specialist technical knowledge on Sidel, Krones, Husky or other equipment technology
Demonstrate root-cause problem solving to identify and perform equipment repairs and improvements
Plan, lead and execute preventative maintenance efforts to minimize equipment downtime

5 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues across multiple departments and levels of the organization
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
7 years of work experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment
Associate's Degree in manufacturing, manufacturing technology, mechatronics, industrial manufacturing, manufacturing automation or other similar manufacturing-related specialization
4 years of experience in one of the following fields: blow molding, injection molding, packaging, or beverage
4 years of experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or other packaging or bottling equipment
2 years of experience creating process improvements or continuous improvement initiatives
Ability to read and interpret schematics: electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic
