Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations across multiple manufacturing stations, supervising, coaching, and developing Station Leads and production employees.
- Own shift performance by ensuring safety, quality, productivity, labor efficiency, and customer deadlines are consistently achieved.
- Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions when performance falls below expectations.
- Resolve operational issues and make timely decisions to maintain production flow.
- Partner with Maintenance, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to minimize downtime and improve operational performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that improve productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Develop Station Leads through ongoing coaching, feedback, and leadership development.
- Promote cross-training and workforce flexibility to support changing production demands.
Requirements
- 3+ years of prior supervisory experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (required).
- Experience in printing, book manufacturing, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable, including direct experience with performance management and disciplinary processes.
- 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Weekend work is required based on production demands.
