About the role

  • Jefferies is seeking an experienced vice president to help assist in covering the clean energy sector.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed company models
  • Maintain relationships with company IR teams.
  • Build and maintain detailed company models - Stay on top of company news, track filings, listen to conference calls - Write first look notes, contribute to longer thematic reports, and company initiations - Field questions and communicate with sales and/or clients - Maintain relationships with company IR teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years experience covering clean energy on the sell-side, buy-side, banking or consulting.
  • knowledge of industry-specific databases also helpful.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and energy-specific terminology/concepts
