  • Job Description: Maintenance Technician 3rd Shift - Manitowoc, WI At Pentair, you will work alongside passionate problem-solvers who are committed to the future of our planet.
  • We have an opportunity for a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our Manitowoc, WI team.
  • You will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB) and automated equipment.
  • Support integration of automation technologies including sensors, actuators, and PLCs.
  • Install and maintain electrical panels, motor controls, and power distribution systems.
  • Perform electrical safety checks and ensure compliance with NEC and OSHA standards.
  • Fabricate and install custom fixtures and tooling to support production.
  • Maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, and compressed air.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
  • Experience with robotic systems and safety protocols.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and basic computer literacy.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, crawl, and work in confined spaces.
  • This role requires minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods in warm, humid conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus.

Compensation

  • The hourly pay for this role is: $38-$45hr + $1/hr. shift premium.
  • Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
