About the role
- We are a tight-knit team that specializes in music business management, with a clientele consisting mainly of touring artists, producers, songwriters, and independent labels.
- This role is ideal for a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience supporting clients such as touring musicians, music producers, songwriters, and other creative talent.
- The ideal candidate brings both strategic oversight and hands-on accounting skills, with a client-service mindset and deep industry knowledge.
Responsibilities
- proactively manage clients and their teams on related matters
- Perform advanced bookkeeping entries as needed
- Prepare financial presentation documents for clients and partners
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in business management, or a related field
- Required: Prior experience in the music and/or touring industry
- Experience in tax matters, including quarterly estimates and return coordination
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and financial reporting software
Nice to have
- CPA certification preferred
