About the role
- Hollywood, MD Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team.
- The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout our manufacturing processes.
- The proposed salary range for this position is $20-$35/hr.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of inspections, including detailed reports and data analysis.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, with a strong understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards.
- Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- High School/GED and Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards.
- Familiarity with inspection techniques, tools, and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauging fixtures, etc.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple inspection tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation
- The proposed salary range for this position is $20-$35/hr.
