Responsibilities
- Develop and administer the Site's chemical monitoring program to ensure compliance and reduce exposure risk for our Team Members.
- Support new chemical reviews/approval.
- Support resolution of potential chemical exposures as they arise.
- Partner closely with PE, Maintenance, Logistics and other Groups on safety issues.

- Develop and manage plans to achieve Regional & Site's Hoshin targets.
Requirements
- Experience with ergonomic evaluations & quantification of results.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3 years of experience in a safety or safety related role.
- Proficiency with Microsoft suite-Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
- Experience in a Toyota Safety role or related Toyota field.
- Bachelor's degree in safety, health or related field.
- Experience with Health & Safety regulatory compliance.
- Added bonus if you have
- Experience developing countermeasures for industrial hygiene concerns.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- Technical safety training or certifications.
- Technical chemical training or certifications.

- Who we're looking for
- The Toyota Safety Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Safety Analyst located at our TMMAL Engine Plant.
- The primary responsibility for this position will be to oversee the site's Industrial Hygiene & Chemical Safety programs to ensure team member safety and compliance with all applicable safety regulations.
- This includes interpretation of applicable standards and development of technically accurate, standardized safety related policies and programs.
- The person in this role will support Toyota's regional Safety Group objectives through standardization with focus to achieve an incident free workplace.
- This will be balanced with supporting the Site's unique needs for safety improvement activity, incident reviews, and best practice sharing and implementation.
