About the role
- Overall Responsibilities: The Mid-Level Practitioner (MLP) plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the BCBA
- Monitor learner progress and support skill acquisition and behavior reduction goals
- Support the development and modification of behavior intervention plans
- Collect, review, and analyze data to support clinical decision-making
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in CentralReach
- Provide guidance and support to BTs and RBTs during service delivery
- Provide feedback to team members to support performance and development
- Support utilization of authorized hours through effective scheduling and service delivery
- This position works under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct treatment, assist in clinical programming, and support the training and development of Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- The MLP supports learner progress by implementing treatment plans, assisting with assessments, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across assigned caseloads.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of ABA principles and intervention strategies
- Minimum of 1-2+ years of experience implementing behavior intervention services
- Ability to implement treatment plans with consistency and fidelity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to coach, guide, and support BT/RBT staff
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to analyze data and support clinical decision-making
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with electronic health records (CentralReach preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field required
- Completion of at least 12 semester credit hours in behavior analysis or related coursework (or equivalent BCaBA coursework)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Nice to have
- Active RBT certification preferred, not required
Compensation
- $32k-$37k
