About the role
- CADRE is seeking a Business Analyst to support cross-functional delivery teams responsible for gathering, analyzing, and translating business needs into actionable requirements across federal IT modernization initiatives.
- This role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with mission objectives, regulatory requirements, and user needs in complex environments.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
- Support prioritization of requirements in collaboration with Product Owners and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and UX teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate delivered solutions meet business needs.
- Maintain documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), process flows, and functional specifications.

- We strategically mobilize, manage, and maintain specialized cadres using our RO(M³) model.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Experience working in structured or regulated environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to have
- Experience supporting federal government contracts or public-sector initiatives.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience with process modeling tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile-related certifications.
