About the role
- As a Material Handler Specialist, you will play a critical role in warehouse operations by accurately picking, handling, and moving products in temperature-controlled environments.
- This position is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a fast-paced distribution center and is committed to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders in freezer and cooler warehouse environments.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment while following established procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity, quality, and customer service goals.
- Assist with inventory audits, process improvements, and overtime needs to support customer commitments.
Requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and material handling procedures.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work a fixed schedule and required overtime when needed.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 20-50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to walk extensive distances during a shift.
- Ability to work in varying noise-level environments and around warehouse equipment.
