About the role
- We are looking for bilingual individuals with strong technical video knowledge with a background and work experience in video editing to join our onsite Welocalize team in USA.
- Working schedule: 10:00-19:00 (8 hours work + 1 hour unpaid lunch break) Austin time. (Central Time Zone)
Responsibilities
- Welocalize combines AI, automation, and human expertise to support enterprises in more than 300 languages, enabling accurate, culturally aligned, and compliant multilingual content at scale.
- Welocalize's Opal Platform comprises patented technology designed to automate multilingual content and improve workflow performance for enterprises.
Requirements
- Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
- 2-4 years of experience working with digital video
- Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot video/system playback issues and identify trends to propose short and long-term solutions
- Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues
- The ideal candidate should have experience with all of the following:
- Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity of their product offerings
- Successful candidates must have valid work authorization for the US with no need for sponsorship
- American Sign Language or British Sign Language (this is a must)
- Willingness to work in a high-volume, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge.
Nice to have
- Professional/advanced proficiency in any other language would be a big plus. (optional but valuable)

Compensation
- Hourly flat rate: $27 USD
