Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects in collaboration with the HVAC team and Central Heating Plant.
- Manage and work alongside a team of licensed steamfitters to oversee all aspects of HVAC operations across campus.
- Operate and maintain the Central Heating Plant in compliance with Massachusetts CMR 522 Board of Boiler Rules, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years in a modern power plant and routine boiler maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of power plant auxiliary equipment operation and maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of people.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- For faculty positions, statements on mentoring, teaching, and research will also be required.

Compensation
- Conduct annual flushing and maintenance of fire hydrants to support life safety compliance.
- Perform necessary repairs and mechanical work during the annual summer shutdown in accordance with M.C.L-522 CMR.
