About the role
- Administer Microsoft 365 Messaging and Exchange Server (2016/2019/SE) to ensure high availability and performance
- Leverage Power Automate to streamline workflows and integrate email processes with hospital systems
- Monitor email health, security posture, and message flow; resolve complex routing and delivery issues
Responsibilities
- Implement and manage SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to prevent spoofing and business email compromise
- Develop and maintain PowerShell automation for administration, reporting, and configuration management
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation to support critical messaging incidents impacting patient care
- Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview compliance tools, including DLP and information protection
Requirements
- Proven experience with email security gateways, preferably Proofpoint solutions
- Strong working knowledge of HIPAA requirements related to email and PHI protection
Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments
- Effective collaboration with security, compliance, clinical, and application teams

Compensation
- $151,300.00 - $249,700.00

- Role Overview
- Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure enterprise email infrastructure across hybrid environments
- Lead or support email-related initiatives including migrations, upgrades, hybrid configurations, and security enhancements
- Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience engineering and administering enterprise email platforms
- Deep expertise with Microsoft Exchange (hybrid and/or Exchange Online) in regulated environments
- Advanced PowerShell scripting experience for automation and operational efficiency
- Experience supporting high-availability messaging systems in healthcare or similar regulated industries
- Ability to design secure solutions aligned with compliance and regulatory standards
- Ownership mindset with the ability to manage incidents and priorities under pressure
