About the role

Responsibilities
- Own MatX's shared power architecture framework for server-class AI accelerators.
- Build and correlate estimation frameworks that connect architecture intent to implementation reality.
- Partner with architecture, RTL, DV, PD, and platform teams.
- Drive decisions across power, performance, area, timing, voltage, thermal, reliability, schedule, and deployability.
- Experience building early models to influence direction and later models for correlation.

- You will work with domain owners as true technical counterparts, understand their constraints, and help MatX make better power decisions as the design moves from idea through deployment.

Requirements
- Deep experience in power architecture, power modeling, power methodology, or power-performance analysis for complex chips.
- Ability to reason across architecture, RTL, PD, firmware, platform, and thermal constraints and tradeoffs.
Nice to have
- Experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, datacenter CPUs, networking silicon, or other server-class chips.
- Experience with ML workloads and perf/Watt analysis.
- Experience correlating architectural models to RTL, PD, silicon, or platform measurements.
Compensation
- The US base salary for this full-time position is determined based on a variety of factors including role, experience, location, job related skills, and relevant education and training. Career length is only a guideline for compensation.
- Early Career - $120,000 - $275,000 + equity
- Mid Career - $175,000 - $450,000 + equity
- Senior Career - $275,000 - $600,000 + equity
- Time To Recharge 4 weeks paid time off (accrued), 12 company holidays, and 3 weeks remote/flexible work per year
