About the role
- This position is responsible for income tax area such as federal tax returns, federal tax provision, state tax apportionment, and other income tax reporting and activities for the company.
- A tax accountant reports directly to the tax manager.
Responsibilities
- Complete a review of internal processes to test the accuracy of internal control over financial reporting every quarter and submit evidence and supporting documents via the internal control portal.
Requirements
- Analytical focus is required
- The position must demonstrate the ability to plan and execute tasks effectively to ensure compliance with critical tax deadlines.
- Coordination with other accounting personnel, various departments, and external consultants is also required.
- Additionally, the role must possess ability to monitor tax legislative changes and communicate effectively any changes that impact the company.
- BBA/BS in Accounting required.
- Applicants must be authorized to access such information or eligible for government authorization.

- Provide strong analytical skills and demonstrate problem solving.

Compensation
- Be responsible of preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provisions, corporate tax returns, and regulatory compliance tasks.
- Be responsible of leading annual R&D tax credit by collaborating with a consulting firm and SMEs.
- Analyze financial statement data annually and provide it to an external consulting firm for annual APA compliance.
