About the role

  • The Weitz Company is hiring a Laborer/Carpenter for a project site in Fort Myers, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Build, repair, and install counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, building framework, trim, assist with layout of formwork, partitions, etc.
  • Comply with company policies, safety regulations, and building codes
  • The Weitz Company has been Building a Better Way since 1855.

Skills

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide units of measure
  • Ability to make complex cuts not to waste material and figure out complex forming systems
  • Training and complying with all safety rules
  • Ability to perform without constant supervision
  • The employee frequently is required to speak and listen and must regularly lift and/or move materials.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
