Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with the manager to ensure efficient kitchen operations, address service challenges, motivate the culinary team, and maintain clear communication on personnel and performance matters.
  • Maintains professional boundaries with clients and their community of supports (e.g., parents), and reinforces HIPAA compliance for all culinary staff.
  • Collaborates with the Nutrition and Culinary Manager (or delegate) for necessary menu adaptions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of cooking experience in a medium-volume kitchen required, with 2 years of healthcare setting experience preferred.

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree in culinary arts or equivalent preferred.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience or equivalent preferred.

Compensation

  • Starting hourly range between $24.00 - $31.00
