Responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of Technical Assessment Reviews (TARs), Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) processes, equipment life cycle cost, and logistics life cycle sustainment.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of CDRL processes to support outfitting documentation requirements.
- Support vessel outfitting activities including equipment validation, storeroom placements, VIN marking, product tracking, and logistic impact assessments.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management principles and apply them to day-to-day program support activities.
Requirements
- At least three (3) years of experience relevant to supporting logistics or configuration and shipbuilding processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of shipbuilding processes including Technical Assessment Reviews (TARs), proposal development, equipment life cycle cost, logistics life cycle sustainment, and ECP processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of outfitting/load out of ships.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Configuration Management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Physical Configuration Audits.
- Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative methods to organize, plan, conduct, and evaluate outfitting/configuration programs
- ability to produce reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Experience with vessel outfitting, equipment validation, storeroom placements, VIN marking, product tracking, and logistic impacts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel.
