Responsibilities
- Support teaching staff and volunteers during afterschool programming for K-12 students
- Assist in developing and delivering instructional activities and materials
- Support parent engagement efforts and school-home communication
- Perform other duties based on your skills, goals, and site needs
- Interns will support day-to-day operations of LaAmistad's afterschool and family programs.
Requirements
- Recent graduates (within 2 years)
Nice to have
- High school diploma or current high school/college enrollment
- Fluency in English
- Spanish proficiency preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently or in teams
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic tech troubleshooting
- Access to reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
