About the role
- We produce strap, stretch and protective packaging.
- We also manufacture packaging tools and equipment used to apply the bulk packaging materials.
Responsibilities
- Their duties include setup and maintaining the assembly lines, developing testing procedures/equipment for quality assurance, and gathering statistics to assess efficiency.
- Production Support & Improvement
- Coordinate with various departments to execute and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Support New Production Introduction for production cells.
- Generate and implement sustainable processes using lean manufacturing principles to improve production.
- Lead/Participate in Kaizen and problem-solving activities.
- Develop and implement improvement projects for the production process, equipment, and tools.
- Provide information that supports manufacturing operations, such as performing historical data analysis, design, documentation, implementation, and validation of equipment and process changes.
- Design, develop, implement, and support both hardware and software systems used in manufacturing.
- Actively participate as technical lead for assigned projects.
Requirements
- Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
Nice to have
- 2-plus years of work-related experience in manufacturing.
- Understands Lean Manufacturing principles and problem-solving methodology (DMAIC.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Proficient with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Understand technical drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of manufacturing quality systems.
Skills
- These commercial packaging products are used to pack, bundle, unitize, protect, and secure goods during warehousing and transit.
Compensation
- The annual salary for this position ranges from $95,000 - $115,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location.
- Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
