Requirements

  • Knowledge of OSGi (Open Services Gateway Initiative) for modular development and managing AEM bundles.
  • Familiarity with JCR, especially Apache Jackrabbit Oak, which is the repository used by AEM.
  • Knowledge of configuring AEM Dispatcher for caching and load balancing.
  • Familiarity with AEM content authoring, versioning, and publishing processes.
  • Proficiency in Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Experience with search platforms like Apache Solr or Elasticsearch.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) is essential.
  • Understanding Apache Sling, which is the web application framework used by AEM to map request URLs to content resources.
  • Experience in upgrading AEM versions and maintaining the platform.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, designers, and content authors.
  • Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of integrating AEM with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, or Adobe Campaign.
