Requirements

  • 15+ years in operational or project-execution roles in the commercial steel industry, including 10+ years in a leadership position
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field - or equivalent industry experience
  • Familiarity with AISC standards and certification requirements

  • What You'll Own • P&L Ownership: Own your division's financial performance - budgets, margins, and profitable growth. • Business Development: Partner with sales and estimating to identify and win new work. • Market Insight: Use your read on local and regional markets to drive project success. • Client Retention: Build lasting client relationships through exceptional service and execution. • Project Oversight: Lead the project team across detailing, fabrication, and field execution. • Resource Management: Make sure the local fabrication shop and field erection crews have what they need to deliver. • Safety Leadership: Champion a zero-incident culture - Safety is the first of our STEEL values. • Performance Monitoring: Track project and operational performance, and act fast when plans need adjusting. • Team Leadership: Lead every aspect of the Project Management and Field Erection teams - hiring, training, and professional development.
