About the role
- Complies with all Company and Plant policies and procedures including conformance to the facilities' GMP program (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Ensures all OSHA guidelines are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to leadership immediately.

Responsibilities

- Maintains the entire work area in a neat, safe and orderly fashion using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Validates the use of the Plants' lockout tagout procedures, job rotation program, etc. as needed.
- production, such as the quality and safety of food products being packaged; the safety of team members; the ongoing housekeeping of assigned areas; adherence to the production schedule, such as rest and lunch breaks; optimizing line efficiencies under the guidance from Line or Area Supervisor; and timely and effective communications with production leaders to support overall production effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationship with others.
- Assist in developing SOP's.
- Create daily reports regarding staffing, production numbers, scrapped material, and encountered issues throughout the shift.
- Develops, maintains, and communicate visual key performance indicators (KPI's) to provide ongoing feedback regarding productivity, quality, safety and sanitation and housekeeping.
Requirements
- The ability to react to schedule changes depending on flavor/pack type change overs.
Skills
- Loads, removes, and/or off bears materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools and moving devices.
