Responsibilities

  • Supervises the support and assistance of employees and managers in staffing and/or payroll related functions (data changes).
  • May coordinate complex academic affairs staffing functions including position reclassifications and promotion to support the Tenure & Promotion process.
  • Develops, implements, evaluates, and reviews faculty staffing related processes in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements, best practices, and university needs.
  • Develops and analyzes complex staffing reports, summaries, reviews, and related documents. Audits staffing and/or payroll documents as necessary.
  • Provides expertise to supervisors and employees with faculty staffing questions. Partners with
  • Prepares documents for workshops and presentations.
  • Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and university rules, regulations, and standard administrative procedures that govern employment.
  • May oversee and/or coordinate the planning and logistical support for events and programs.
  • Collaborates with main Human Resources on updates to process, services, and programs. Attends human resources trainings and/or informational meetings.
  • May mentor and assist the team lead with supervision of assigned staff.

Compensation

  • The target base annual salary range is $53,745 up to $76,321 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
