About the role

Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the direct HR manager to understand fully the business needs and requirements and how the role of People Specialist supports those needs.
- Attends, participates, and leads, as appropriate, employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations with limited direction from a more senior level HR professional.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law.
- Manages employee questions with timely and accurate responses, trouble shoots and escalates as appropriate.
- Collaborates with the entire HR department including serving as a liaison with third parties and internal stakeholders (such as Payroll).
- Our products, services and solutions help bring innovative therapies to market and support the patients who depend on them.

Requirements
- An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above.
- Proficient knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensures compliance.
- Knowledge of global employment laws and regulations as appropriate.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or psychology
- SHRM Certification

Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources
- Experience handling with employee matters in an hourly work environment.
- This position requires an Associate-level degree, preferably in management, human resources,
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
