- We seek a passionate, self-motivated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for our school and clinic roles -where your expertise truly makes a difference.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans and therapy activities developed by the supervising SLP.
- Track and document client performance during sessions, reporting progress and concerns to the supervising SLP.
- Prepare engaging, age-appropriate therapy materials and maintain an organized therapy space within the school and/or clinic environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support carryover of speech and language goals into the classroom.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support therapy outcomes.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- California state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) as required by the jurisdiction.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the development of speech and language.
- Ability to adapt therapy techniques and strategies to meet the unique needs of individual clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including SLPs, occupational therapists, and educators.

Compensation
- $35k-$45k
