About the role

  • This role involves mechanical, electrical, and fabrication tasks and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs), repairs, and project-based work.
  • Maintain, repair, and test power transmission equipment.
  • Disassemble and reassemble production and support equipment using appropriate tools.
  • Fabricates basic brackets, supports, and fixtures.
  • Accurately document all work (PMs, repairs, and projects) in the MPulse CMMS system.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and requisition materials for repairs and maintenance.
  • Assist in the design, upgrade, or modification of equipment with internal teams or outside contractors.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production and support equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in basic work order, mechanical, and electrical maintenance tasks.
  • As a Federal Contractor, Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc. is required to participate in the E-Verify Program to confirm eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Associate degree in Maintenance Technology preferred, or HS Diploma with equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Experience using MPulse or other CMMS software, preferred.
  • Basic fabrication and welding skills are a plus.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position is $25.00-$33.00 an hour with a $1.00 shift differential.
  • Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
  • This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
