Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of the Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation, a public Foundation dedicated to supporting family caregivers
  • Collaborate with internal and external supporters, communications and stakeholder engagement teams on community initiatives and events
  • Support relationships with charities, non-profit organizations, and other community partners
  • Conduct research and provide general project support to the team

  • Suncor is seeking a motivated student to support our Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation for an 8-12 month term.
  • In this role, you'll work with internal and external teams and community partners to support charitable giving programs, community initiatives, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Arts, Social Sciences, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Experience with social media an asset
  • Experience volunteering with or supporting a non-profit or charitable organization is an asset
  • Experience managing events an asset

Company info

  • This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • This is a 8-12 month work term starting Sept 2026
