About the role

  • The Coordinator, Venue Programs & Administration is responsible for creating, implementing, and continuously improving the employee experience for Capital One Arena team members.
  • Are you passionate about creating an exceptional employee experience and fostering a positive workplace culture?

Responsibilities

  • Champion and lead the CREATE Committee, coordinating meetings, initiatives, and cross-department participation.
  • Manage the employee recognition platform, tenure awards, milestone celebrations, and recognition initiatives.
  • Create and distribute the monthly CREATE newsletter and other internal communications.
  • Partner with departments to enhance employee spaces and workplace culture.
  • Support the venue department heads with cross-functional projects and operational initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support for venue-wide programs and special projects.
  • MSE owns and operates seven major and minor sports teams:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in employee engagement, hospitality, event planning, project coordination, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • Experience planning or coordinating events preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
