About the role
- The position works closely with Engineering, Maintenance, Production, Quality, and outside vendors to maximize equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and extend equipment life.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Maintain accurate equipment documentation, including preventive maintenance and calibration records, troubleshooting logs, spare parts information, and equipment change documentation.
- Support the development and maintenance of work instructions, preventive maintenance and calibration procedures, and operator training materials.
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues and support new product introductions.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and outside service providers to support repairs, upgrades, and installation projects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Two or more years of experience supporting automated assembly equipment in a production environment.
Nice to have
- Basic understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred.
- Experience with precision manufacturing, automated assembly, or inspection equipment is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- experience with CAD software and industrial automation software is a plus.
