About the role

You liaise with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to translate process documentation into technical solutions
You assist with deep-dive analyses, impact assessments, and documentation for automation solutions and business outcomes

As a full-time Director of AI & Automation at SIXT, you'll be at the heart of Corporate Development, owning the AI and automation deployment funnel and rapidly building automation workflows.
You'll manage data connections, support Project Managers on technical implementation, and enable cross-functional teams to turn process documentation into deployed solutions.
You support Corporate Development by owning and operating the deployment funnel for all AI & automation solutions
You manage automation workflow development, data source connections, and ensure governance and data integrity
You maintain reusable data models, optimize query performance, and uphold data quality across automation workflows

Experience You have 5+ years of professional work experience, including hands-on experience with data and automation, and demonstrated progression
Technical Proficiency You possess advanced SQL skills, experience with AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Claude Code), enterprise automation platforms, APIs, and data pipelines
Soft Skills You demonstrate strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Additional Skills You are familiar with workflow automation platforms (n8n, Zapier), Python or R, prompt engineering, data governance, and cloud data platforms (preferred)
