About the role
- Shifts Available: Shift 13: 4:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Thursday Starting Rate of Pay: $23.50 - $26.50 per hour base rate depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage changing workloads.
- Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification through Clow.
- Clow is seeking a Lead Shipping Clerk to join our Shipping team.
- This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily shipping activities, providing direction and support to team members, balancing workloads, resolving issues, and ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
- The Lead Shipping Clerk works closely with the Shipping Supervisor and other departments to maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment while keeping materials and finished products moving efficiently.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Previous leadership experience required. · Hands-on experience with warehouse management software.
- Ability to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods Ability to lift and handle materials up to 65lbs Frequent bending, reaching, material handling, and part movement
Skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Basic math skills for weighing, measuring, and verifying shipments.
Compensation
- $24k-$27k
