About the role
- T he Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - provides primary medical care within a federally contracted ICE residential facility.
- This role works collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, behavioral health professionals, pharmacy personnel, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, effective, and culturally responsive healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- We provide a range of professional services, including specialized facilities, customized logistics support, and direct care services.
- Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing and support staff.
- Document assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, medication orders, and significant clinical events.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with mandatory reporting requirements.
Requirements

- Nurse Practitioner Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Physician Assistant Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Experience treating pediatric and adult populations.
Skills
- If applicable, Child Abuse/ Neglect Report (CAN) or child protective services check with no adverse findings.
- Experience working in a federal contract environment Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Training in trauma informed care and crisis intervention Conditions of Employment:

- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate emergency transfers when necessary.
- Provide clinical input regarding fitness for travel and continuity of care.
- Care Coordination Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and ancillary staff to ensure integrated patient care.
- Authorize referrals, specialty consultations, and off-site medical services as appropriate.
- Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and complete medical records.
