About the role
- One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an experienced Continuity Subject Matter Expert (Senior) to support our Federal Government client within the U.S. Department of State, Office of Emergency Management (OEM). The selected candidate will serve as a senior advisor responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Continuity of Operations (COOP) and
- emergency management programs to ensure the Department can continue performing its essential functions during emergencies. This position requires extensive experience in continuity planning, emergency preparedness, risk management, and interagency coordination while supporting senior Department leadership. Nice to have
- Experience supporting the U.S. Department of State or another Federal emergency management organization.
- Experience supporting National Level Exercises (NLE) or National Special Security Events (NSSE).
- Familiarity with emergency telecommunications systems and continuity communications.
- OFS specializes in Business Intelligence, Acquisition and Procurement, Emergency Management, and other Professional Services.
- This position requires extensive experience in continuity planning, emergency preparedness, risk management, and interagency coordination while supporting senior Department leadership.
- Continuity Subject Matter Expert (Senior) Key Responsibilities Serve as a senior Continuity of Operations Emergency Planner supporting the Department's continuity and emergency management mission.
- Provide subject matter expertise and recommendations to senior Department leadership on continuity planning, emergency preparedness, and organizational resilience.
- Identify continuity capability gaps, assess organizational risks, and recommend corrective actions to improve emergency preparedness.
Visa & Work Authorization
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
