Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and mento warehouse associates, leads, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, manage compensation, and implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
- Oversee hiring and onboarding processes to build a skilled and motivated team.
- Implement strategies to improve efficiency.
- Oversee quality control to maintain high accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong communication with internal departments, respond to customer needs, and provide operational reports to senior management.
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Enforce safety protocols, maintain the required safety certifications and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Nice to have
- 10 years management experience in Distribution environment.
- College degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Six Sigma Certification is a plus!
- Ability to travel to multiple states for training.
- Ability to compete and pass a criminal background screening.
- Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing 70+ pounds on a frequent basis.
- Requires prolonged standing or walking, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
- Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
Skills
- Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift)
