About the role
- Where: The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia.

Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and development for enterprise integration and automation initiatives.
- Provide hands-on coding support across backend services, APIs, databases, and automation workflows.
- Guide developers through design reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and production readiness.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Help design and implement AI / agentic automation use cases across business functions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
- Experience designing and building solutions on AWS Cloud.
- Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor engineers.
- Practical understanding of SDLC, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- They should be comfortable operating in ambiguity, improving process maturity, and helping the team deliver secure, scalable, and business-focused technology solutions.
Requirements
- This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada - if you're close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Workato or similar iPaaS tools.
- Experience with AWS Bedrock
- Experience with AI automation, AI agents, LLMs, RAG, or agentic workflows.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Secrets Manager, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, CloudWatch, and IAM.
- Experience with security, compliance, SOX controls, and audit-ready engineering practices.

Compensation
- The target base compensation for this position is $150,000 to $170,000 USD per year and a variable component included in most US locations.
- Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
